Supporting Together to validate a product by increasing day 1 account activations.

Together is an AI based product which uses psychology literature to provide couples counseling through real time conversations.

I was tasked to support the team to increase onboarding activation rates and trial2paid conversions.

Redesigning the onboarding and testing 3 full fledged variations FAST.

That was the initial challenge. So I took best practices available out there and applied directly to our reality.


Optimizing winning variants.

Once we had a winning variant I started optmizing that to increased the other metrics that were relevant.

A simple idea increased our T2P conversions from 4% to 30%

I noticed through research that users were still not entirely sure how to use the app once leaving the onboarding. So I've edited a quick product video explaining the app using the AI voice from our product and placed it right after the paywall and before the product. That shift bumped our conversion rates drastically and allowed Together to increase their paid user base.
